Our Team

Tom Calhoon | Owner

Tom began his real estate career by purchasing a duplex on 2nd Street in Austin in 1976. The down payment for this purchase came from money saved from mowing lawns and working at a local hardware store in Northwest Hills. In 1982, he graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance. By 1998, his business acumen in real estate led him to the purchase of what is now known as the Riley Building, named after his daughter, Peyton Riley Calhoon.

Over the years, Tom has given back to the Austin community that helped grow him into who he is today. His philanthropy includes supporting his alma maters through the construction of an astroturf field at Anderson High School and furthering alcohol research through Dr. Jon Pierce at The University of Texas. In addition, Tom supports Austin’s Mobile Loaves and Fishes as well as ongoing community projects for the city’s homeless population. Tom is also known for his passion for health and wellness and is a fitness and yoga enthusiast.
